Qatar 2022: Reason Why Salah Missed His Penalty Against Senegal Finally Revealed, Senegal Fans Have Been Vehemently Accused

Salah Missed His Penalty Against Senegal As Egypt Melt Out Of Qatar 2022 World Cup

Egypt lost a penalty shootout against Senegal in their 2022 World Cup qualifier, and Liverpool

talisman Mohamed Salah may feel disgruntled after being distracted by laser pens from the crowd.

Salah’s Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane, just like in the Africa Cup of Nations final last month,

stepped up to score the game-winning penalty kick. Later this year, Senegal will visit Qatar at Egypt’s cost.

After losing 1-0 away in Egypt last week – with a strike from Salah to help force an own goal – the African champions came into their home second leg aiming to reverse a 1-0 deficit.

There were no further goals for the rest of the night, with the score remaining 1-1 after extra time, forcing a repetition of the African Cup of Nations final penalty shootout.

On that occasion, Salah appeared to be prepared to take Egypt’s sixth penalty, but Senegal settled it before he had a chance to take it.

He wasn’t going to make the same mistake twice, so he took charge of the Pharaohs’ first spot-kick.

After being bombarded with green lasers in his eyes, Liverpool’s Egyptian King sailed his penalty over the bar.

The first four penalties were all missed – two each – but the hosts regrouped to keep their cool, and Mane was once again Senegal’s hero.
