The cedi has stabilized against the main currencies after the enactment of the Electronic Transaction Levy, also known as E-levy.
Collins Adomako Mensah, the Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabere North, said the signals are obvious that the cedi is performing well against the dollar.
Collins Adomako Baafi stressed on Thursday’s Wontumi Radio Morning Show that the passage of the E-levy has sent a signal to the globe market.
According to him, the E-levy ensures revenue.
The member stated that it was critical that the bill be signed into law.
He urged the NPP to demonstrate to Ghanaians the usage of the E-levy.
Collins Adomako Mensah said he will insist on the government on the judicious use of the E-levy.
