Following Heung-min Son’s absence from the PFA Premier League Team of the Season, fans of the English Premier League took to social media to express their displeasure.

The South Korean and Tottenham Hotspur striker had a fantastic season, scoring 23 goals and winning the Golden Boot with Mohamed Salah.

President Yoon Seok-yeol honored the 29-year-old Spurs forward with the Cheongnyong Medal before South Korea’s friendly against five-time World champions Brazil.

Despite being the first Asian to win the Golden Boot, he was left out of the PFA Team of the Year.

His removal from the 2021-22 Team of the Year has attracted attention, especially among English Premier League fans who have not shied away from expressing their displeasure with the decision.
