Top 10 Heavyweight Boxers Of All Time According To DAZN

Before his world title battle against Dillian Whyte, Tyson Fury has been recognized among the top ten heavyweights in boxing history.

Fury fought on British soil for the first time in August 2018, and for the first time in England since defending his WBC title at Wembley earlier that year.

He retained his championship by beating Dillian White in the six round.

After the fight, the Gypsy King hangs up his gloves after defeating his fellow British heavyweight boxer.

According to rumours, Tyson Fury will bounce back to the scene of boxing anytime soon.

DAZN agrees and has included the undefeated 33-year-old in their top 10, albeit they haven’t given their top 10 a ranking.

Fury is joined on the list by Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis, George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, and Muhammad Ali.

“Fury has blended pure boxing abilities with underrated punching power to a pinnacle level amongst his expanding supremacy,” DAZN writer Mark Lelinwalla wrote about Fury’s spot on the list.

“In all three of his fights against Deontay Wilder, both aspects of his fighting game have been on display.

“With a record of 31-0-1, all that’s left for the WBC and lineal world heavyweight champion and former unified world champion is to claim indisputable glory as the cherry on top.

“However, his career and perseverance in the face of personal adversity have already placed him among the greatest heavyweights of all time on our list.”

Of course, if he totally retires, he won’t be able to unify the division, but if he doesn’t, he’ll be in for a thrilling battle in the near future.

After surprising Anthony Joshua in their fight last year, Oleksandr Usyk now holds the other major belts in the division, and a match between Fury and the Ukrainian would pit two of the division’s smartest boxers against each other.

Usyk will defend his titles against AJ later this summer, most likely in July, and if the British boxer regains his crowns, a fight with Fury would be the biggest in British boxing history.

A win over either of them would undoubtedly seal the Mancunian’s place in any all-time top ten list.
