Thomas Tuchel Reveals The Team He Wants Chelsea To Face In The UCL Quater Final

After a 4-1 aggregate win over Lille, the Blues qualified for the last eight of this year’s championship.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has stated that the Blues are prepared to play any team in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals this season.

The Blues will now await the draw on Friday, where they might face Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City,Benfica, or Villarreal.

While a match against the Portuguese or the Yellow Submarines appears to be the most straightforward on paper, Tuchel thinks that Chelsea is prepared to face any opponent.

“I want us to be the team nobody wants to play. That’s the role we see ourselves in this last round of eight,” Tuchel said.
