Saudi Media Group Reportedly Make $3.5 Billion Offer To Buy Chelsea From Roman Abramovich

According to sources, the Saudi Media Group has made a £2.7 billion ($3.5 billion) offer to Roman Abramovich to buy Chelsea Football Club.

Abramovich, the current owner of Chelsea, was recently sanctioned, and his properties were frozen, forcing the club to struggle. The deal, however, is back on track now that the government has given its approval for it to proceed.

Saudi Media Group has made a £2.7 billion offer to purchase the club, according to Ben Jacobs. According to Jacobs, Mohamed Alkhereiji is a Chelsea supporter who is leading a private consortium to buy the Blues from Abramovich.

He has no ties to the government. He continues to clearly show that he is receiving support in securing financing and partners, but that he has not yet received any financial backing.
