Ex-Liverpool winger Sadio Mane is focused on winning ‘every possible trophy’ at new club Bayern Munich, after falling short of Champions League and Premier League glory last campaign.
The German giants signed the 30-year-old for £35.1million earlier this week after he informed Liverpool of his desire to pursue a fresh challenge this summer.
Jurgen Klopp’s side fell short of their quadruple dream last campaign, narrowly missing out on the Champions League trophy to Real Madrid and the Premier League title to Manchester City.
Mane, who was ‘very happy’ upon learning of Bayern Munich’s interest in him, is confident that he can once again mount a multi-trophy challenge next season at his new home and add plenty of silverware to the trophy cabinet.
‘Biggest dream? Today it’s winning every possible trophy with FC Bayern,’ Mane told Bayern TV.
‘When I heard about Bayern’s interest I was really happy of course. I knew I could come and push myself to achieve something special with this club.
‘That means winning every possible trophy, the Bundesliga and of course the Champions League.
‘The Champions League is the dream of every player in the world. We have a great team and very talented players. I think together we can make it.’
During his six year stint at Anfield, Mane netted 120 goals in 269 appearances to help Liverpool win a Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, Premier League and Club World Cup.
