During Man United’s 3-2 win over Norwich City on Saturday, Harry Maguire kicked Paul Pogba in the head, causing the midfielder to bleed.
This infuriated the Frenchman, who vented his frustrations on his colleagues by throwing his hands in the air in disdain.
Pogba was enraged because Maguire had caused him to bleed during his fasting time during the holy month of Ramadan.
If a practicing Muslim bleeds during their fasting period, the fast is deemed broken, according to the rules.
However, if blood is drained from no conscious action, such as an accident, nosebleed, or bodily injury, the fasting time is still valid, even if the volume of blood is enormous.
As a result, when Pogba began bleeding after the ordeal, his fasting period was not broken.
