Real Madrid Aren’t Ready To Give Up Their UCL Hopes But This Chelsea Squad Can Stop Them

Real Madrid have not lived up to the task in the UEFA Champions League since 2019. They last won it in 2018, and they came close to doing so again in 2021, but Chelsea knocked them out in the semi-finals and went on to win the tournament.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, are hell-bent on winning the UEFA Champions League, which is why they defied all odds to knock out Paris Saint-Germain from the competition.

This demonstrates that Real Madrid are not willing to give up their UEFA Champions League dreams, but Chelsea might be the team to stop them in the competition’s quarter-finals.

Thomas Tuchel must be cautious in his selection of players for the match against Real Madrid, given that his team suffered its worst defeat in the Premier League last weekend.

Chelsea’s goalkeeper will be the correct choice for Mendy. Last season, he was able to stop Real Madrid, and he will most likely assist his club in securing a crucial victory at Stamford Bridge.

In the defense, Thomas Tuchel might use Chalobah, Thiago Silva, and Antonio Rudiger together.

In both defense and midfield, his 3-4-3 shape will aid in providing vast coverage. The full-backs will be the ones to assist Thomas Tuchel in refining his strategies.

During Chelsea’s attack, Cesar Azpilicueta and Marco Alonso will be required to get deep into the midfield, but they must return to the defense to assist the central defenders in fending off the attacking threat posed by Karim Benzema, Asensio, and Vinicius Junior.

On the other hand, Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic will have time exploiting the openings created by Real Madrid’s full-backs on the flanks.
