Real Madrid 3-1 PSG: Benzema Hat-Trick Helps Side Kick PSG Out Of Champions League

Real Madrid kicked Paris Saint-Germain out of the Champions League with a spectacular last-16 match in which Karim Benzema bagged a hat-trick in the second half.

Real Madrid beat PSG 3-1 on the night (3-2 on aggregate) to advance to the next round of the competition. Benzema was the star of the show. 

Kylian Mbappe scored the game’s first goal after scoring the game’s only goal in the return leg. The hosts woke up in the second half, led by Benzema, who led his team to the quarter-finals.

He evened the score on the night by capitalizing on Gianluigi Donnarumma’s error. Benzema was set up by Vinicius Jr, who made no mistake from close range, side footed a smooth finish into the net.

After Luka Modric picked him up with a superb pass, the Frenchman made it 2-1 on the night. Moments later, the 34-year-old scored his hat-trick with an incredible finish with the outside of the boot.

PSG, who had led the tie 2-0 at one point, staged an incredible downfall, guaranteeing Real Madrid’s place in the last eight.
