Neymar, the Brazilian star, has reaffirmed his commitment to Paris Saint-Germain, despite reports that Kylian Mbappe does not want him there.
Mbappe signed a new three-year contract with the French capital club, making him the highest-paid footballer in the world.
And reports have surfaced that the 23-year-old Frenchman does not find Neymar to be of value at the club and wants him gone this summer.
However, because his contract has not yet expired, Neymar has stated that he desires to stay at the club.
PSG has already sacked Sporting Director Leonardo, with former Monaco manager Luis Campos likely to take his place, and the club has been connected with deals for Aurelien Tchouameni and Christopher Nkunku, who are believed to replace Neymar.
Neymar is rumored to be on the market, a decision that could have been influenced by Mbappe.
PSG paid a world record £220 million to sign the Brazilian from Barcelona in 2017, but he is unlikely to be sold for that amount.
The 30-year-old, who has three years left on his contract, claims, though, that he is not leaving.
Asked if he will remain at PSG and try to win the Champions League, Neymar told Canal Football Club: “It has to be with Paris.
“I have a contract with PSG, so there are no other possible choices. Yes it will be with Paris Saint-Germain.”
