Neymar Identifies A New Club He Wants To Play For Next Summer

Despite scoring the second goal in the French giants’ 3-0 win over Bordeaux in Ligue 1 on Sunday, the Brazilian forward was booed and jeered by his own fans. He was partly blamed for the side’s disastrous collapse against Real Madrid, which saw them fall out of the Champions League.

According to Fichajes, Newcastle is considering a “golden opportunity” to bring one of the best players in the world to the Premier League. Neymar is said to be disillusioned and considering a move away this summer.

The 30-year-old became the most expensive player in history when he signed for the wealthy Parisian club for £198 million in August 2017-a record he still holds. He has 92 goals in 136 appearances for his club in all competitions.

The 116-cap international has only scored five goals in all competitions this season, far and away his lowest total, and has scored fewer and fewer goals with each passing season, with 28, 23, 19, 17, and now five.

PSG may be willing to sanction a sale in order to break up their “dream front three” of Neymar, Messi, and Kylian Mbappe, which has yet to fire despite Neymar signing a new four-year contract in May.

The former Santos striker, though, would be a wonderful addition to Newcastle, who were purchased in October by a consortium led by Saudi Arabia’s national wealth fund, making them the world’s richest club.

The Magpies would be one of the few clubs on earth able to afford his fee, which is expected to be similar to the £198 million PSG spent on him in 2017, as well as his astronomically high £500,000-per-week earnings.
