Mason Mount scored a hat-trick as the leaders of the English Premier league Chelsea demolished Norwich at Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel’s side were 2-0 ahead in the first 20 minutes of game action. Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi worked hard to score their first goal of the season. Mount gave a superb pass to Reece James which led to a 3-0 led before halftime.
Chelsea’s defender Ben Chilwell scored the fourth goal to extend the club’s lead shortly after the second half was underway. The own goal from Max Aaron and Mount’s late double wrapped up the win.
Tuchel played Kai Havertz as a false nine with Mount and Hudson-Odoi supporting him from the wings. Together they formed a mobile front three and produce a master-class finish.
Norwich’s lack of pressing gave Chelsea the go ahead on the ball and they ruthlessly took over such advantage. Chelsea had a comfortable and relax afternoon today. Also, Norwich failed to close dangerous Mason Mount hence giving him much space to launch in more goals.
