Marcus Rashford Likely To Be Dropped From England Squad Following Poor Form At Manchester United

Marcus Rashford has had a rough season so far, scoring only five goals in all competitions. He’s also having difficulty sneaking into Ralf Rangnick’s Manchester United lineup as a regular starter.

According to recent sources, the 24-year-old is likely to be dropped from England’s squad, having not played for the national team since the Euro 2020 final.

After a poor run of form and insufficient playing time at Manchester United, Marcus Rashford is expected to be dropped from the England squad.

Rashford has not played for England since last year’s Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy due to shoulder surgery that kept him out for the majority of the season.

The 24-year-old has struggled for form since returning to Manchester United, netting only five goals in 24 appearances for the Red Devils so far this season.

Rashford’s introduction into Ralf Rangnick’s side has been another problem, as he has frequently found himself on the bench.

This was the case during his side’s 4-1 derby loss to Manchester City, when he was brought in the second half but failed to create an impact.

Gareth Southgate is expected to continue without Rashford for England’s upcoming games during the next international break, according to ESPN.
