Man City Agree Erling Haaland Terms As Mbaape Chooses Real Madrid

According to The Sun, Manchester City and Erling Haaland have agreed on terms for a summer transfer.

A move to the current Premier League winners might earn the 21-year-old Norwegian about £100 million, and with a release clause of £64 million plus the commission required for Mino Raiola, a comparable sum may need to be invested up-front to seal his transfer.

Real Madrid seems to be interested in signing the Borussia Dortmund striker, but while that would form a strong combination with Kylian Mbappe, Manchester City must ensure they add another excellent striker to their team.

It appears that the chances of them agreeing on a deal for Harry Kane are low, therefore Haaland may be a more smooth move.

Kylian Mbappe has agreed to join Real Madrid, as most of us expected. According to Marca, the decision was made simpler for the 23-year-old French international striker following a humiliating loss to Real Madrid in midweek.

He also got to speak with Karim Benzema after the game, with the prospect of sharing a dressing room with him.

When PSG lost to Real, Mbappe was one of the few bright spots on the pitch, and he was key in the first-leg victory.

It’s possible that Real’s victory hasn’t impressed him as much as the French team’s continued downfall. They must show greater resolution before their reputation begins to hold them back in future games.

Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta, and Antonio Rudiger are all expected to depart Chelsea this summer, but Marcos Alonso, N’Golo Kante, and Jorginho are all approaching the end of their current contracts, according to the Daily Mail.

Mason Mount and Reece James were also expected new contracts, but the Chelsea crisis means that they may all seek new opportunities elsewhere.

While Chelsea has drawn attention for the sanctions imposed on their owner, there appears to be a worrying lack of criticism directed at players who are ready to accept money from clubs that may be financed by owners with a poor track record.
