Real Madrid will surpass Barcelona and Juventus to the signings of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, according to LaLiga president Javier Tebas.
The starlets are set to move this summer and have expressed the interest of clubs from across Europe’s top divisions.
Tebas, on the other hand, believes that Los Blancos are the only team with the financial means to sign the PSG and Borussia Dortmund strikers, while other bidders such as Barcelona and Juventus have been ‘ruined.’
‘Madrid will get Mbappe and Haaland. The others, Barcelona and Juventus, are ruined financially’, Tebas told reporters via Goal.
Mbappe’s arrival is fantastic news for La Liga. It would be a dream come true for La Liga. It is the best thing that has ever happened to La Liga.’ Last summer, Real Madrid made two bids for France international Kylian Mbappe, but both were turned down by PSG’s owners.
The 23-year-current old’s contract expires in four months, and he is currently free to speak to other clubs in Europe about a free transfer.
Madrid is anticipated to return for the Frenchman, but his summer plans have been called into question this week.
PSG has reportedly offered Mbappe a deal worth more than £500,000 per week in order to keep him at the Parc des Princes, making him the highest-paid footballer on the planet.
Meanwhile, Haaland, who has 23 goals in 20 games for Dortmund in all competitions this season, is rumored to be chased by Barcelona, PSG, Manchester City, and Real Madrid, among others.
The £64 million release clause in the 21-year-contract old’s will be activated later this year, and he is expected to be one of the most sought-after players in the summer window.
