Following his hat-trick against French side PSG, Karim Benzema was named Real Madrid’s hero.
Mbappe had placed his side ahead in Spain after scoring the winning goal in the first leg, but Benzema’s three second-half goals were enough for Real Madrid to survive.
Mbappe’s performance has been consoled by Benzema, who claims that Mbappe’s age still works in his favor.
Following Paris Saint-Champions Germain’s League exit, Karim Benzema, a hat-trick hero for Real Madrid, has remarked that age is on Kylian Mbappe’s side, according to Mirror.

The Frenchmen scored all five goals in the two legs, but it was the Los Blancos striker who stood out the most, scoring a second-half hat-trick in the second leg to send his team into the quarter-final.
Mbappe and his teammates were left licking their wounds, and the youngster’s future is uncertain as his contract runs out at the end of the season.
Real Madrid have been linked with a bid for the 23-year-old, although he had hoped to win the Champions League with PSG.
Mbappe was the star of the show for the Ligue 1 side, scoring the game-winning goal at home in the first leg and then putting his team ahead at the Santiago Bernabeu.
PSG, on the other hand, were eliminated from the tournament after Karim Benzema scored a hat-trick in the second half. Benzema told RMC Sport via Sport Skeeda:
“Kylian was disappointed after the game, it’s normal – he wanted to shine as always. But he’s young, he has enough time to do it…”
Mbappe has only been close to winning a final once in his young career, in 2020, and he was the subject of a massive summer bid from Real Madrid.
