Inaki Williams Set To Play For Black Stars At Qatar 2022 World Cup

Inaki Williams, a goal machine for Athletic Bilbao in Spain’s La Liga, has sparked rumors that he could play for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

According to our sources, the seasoned footballer and his younger brother Nico Williams are set to switch allegiances to represent Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in November and December.

The twins, who were born in Spain to Ghanaian parents, have been a long-term target for the four-time Africa Cup of Nations champions, who are hoping to entice him away from Spain.

Since previous President Kwesi Nyantakyi’s administration, the country’s football regulatory body has made multiple attempts to get Inaki Williams to play for the Black Stars.

Ghana’s qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup has become a major factor to convince the 27-year-old centre-forward to announce his decision to represent Ghana with his younger brother, Nico Williams.
