Nigerian multi-millionaire and business magnate, Aliko Dangote, has announced his intention to quit watching the FIFA World Cup if Ghana defeats Nigeria and qualifies for the world’s most prestigious sporting event.
Dangote owns the Dangote Group and serves as its founder and executive chairman. He specializes in the production of cement “Dangote Cement” as well as other businesses around the world.
The multimillionaires company produces approximately 46.5 million metric tons of cement per year and have operations across ten African countries. Dangote is well-known for generously donating to the Nigerian Sport Federation to help with stadium renovations.
Aliko Dangote recently stated publicly that if Ghana defeats Nigeria and qualifies for the World Cup, he will not watch it again the rest of the game. According to him, it is important that Super Eagles of Nigeria make their country proud. As a result, if they do not qualify for the World Cup, he will not travel to Qatar to watch the rest of the game.
He also assured the Sport Minister that the can be rest assured of his continuous support and also knock on his door if they need anything.
