Manager
Pep Guardiola is expected to make some tactical changes in the team, especially in the attack.
Goalkeeper
Ederson is expected to retain his number one position in the team. This is because he has been consistent for several seasons.
Defence
The club owner is expected to boost the defensive department. But the back four is expected to remain the same.
Midfield
The midfield trio is expected to remain the same. But there are speculations that the club could sign Kalvin Philips from Leeds United. I think he will boost the squad depth in the midfield. His defensive instinct is top-notch.
Attack
If you watched the team last season, you would agree with me that the team lacked the services of a vibrant finisher.
The signing of Erling Haaland will improve the team’s attack, especially in the UEFA Champions League. Also, I think he will be deadly in the attack.
