Ghanaian Defender Joseph Aidoo To Miss AFCON Qualifier Against Madagascar

After sustaining an injury in training, Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo has been ruled out of the Africa Cup of Nations Cote D’Ivoire 2023 qualifier against Madagascar.

The Celta Vigo player twisted his right ankle during training and was ruled out of Wednesday’s match.

Aidoo, who was absent from Monday’s training, is presently being monitored by the medical staff as he goes through a lengthy recovery procedure to fully recover.

Ghana will face Madagascar in an Africa Cup of Nations Cote D’Ivoire 2023 Group E qualifier on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Cape Coast stadium.
