Frankfurt Surprised Barcelona With Long-Range Goal In Europa League Quarter-Final

The goal gave Germany a 3-1 aggregate lead over the Blaugrana.

Rafael Santos Borre of Eintracht Frankfurt stunned Barcelona with a long-range shot in the 36th minute of Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final. 

The goal gave Frankfurt a 3-1 aggregate edge at Camp Nou, putting the Blaugrana under enormous pressure. 

Earlier, Frankfurt took the lead as Filip Kostic converted from the spot. 

Barcelona were knocked out of the Europa League after being defeated by Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg of their quarter-final match at Camp Nou.
