Former Tottenham Striker Darren Bent Has Praised N’Golo Kante For His Outstanding Performance At Chelsea

Darren Bent, a former Tottenham Hotspur striker, has praised Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante for his constant outstanding performances.

On Tuesday, the Blues beat Lille 2-0 in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie at Stamford Bridge. The midfielder had a superb game, scoring an assist and receiving the ‘Man of the Match’ honor.

Bent remarked after the game on talkSPORT:

“He had that period where he won the league with Leicester, then he won the league the next season with Chelsea, and then he won the World Cup. During that period, he was incredible. In some respects, I can understand what (Maurizio) Sarri was trying to do (playing him out of position), because, in terms of getting the ball out from the back and starting attacks, Jorginho is so comfortable.”
