Fans Shout “SUIII” As Cristiano Ronaldo Jr Celebrates Like His Dad After Scoring For Man Utd U12’s

After scoring for Manchester United U12′s in their recent triumph against CEF Gironès-Sàbat, footage of Cristiano Ronaldo Jr mimicking his father’s famed ‘SUIII’ celebration has gone viral on social media.

Ronaldo Jr. and Kai Rooney have traveled to Spain to represent United at the MIC Cup, an international junior event held in Costa Brava that attracts the greatest academies from across the world.

Wayne Rooney, Manchester United’s all-time leading striker, wished his 8-year-old son Klay the best of luck in his debut event earlier this week.

And it hasn’t taken long for United’s crop of youngsters to make an impression.

Shola Shoretire’s brother Tunde, who recently assisted a Kai Rooney screamer against Manchester City, managed to find himself on the scoresheet, as did Edson Dejonge-Seiros, Joseph Deighton, Eddie Wright and of course, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.

The youngster showcased a poacher’s instinct against CEF when he got his toe to a free-kick from the left hand side.

Ronaldo Jr then proceeded to run to the corner flag and perform his father’s famous celebration as fans inside the stadium shouted “SUIII” in unison. How good is it?

Ronaldo Jr, who joined United’s development program in February, has recently wowed fans with his footwork in training.

The 11-year-old may be seen in the video below getting the better of others during a practice.

The former Real Madrid star sees some promise in his son’s abilities, but in true Ronaldo manner, he believes there is still a lot of work to be done before he can take it to the next level.

“We’ll see if my son will become a great footballer,” he said in 2020. “He has potential. He is fast and dribbles well, but that is not enough.

“I always tell him that it takes work and dedication to have success. I won’t pressure him to become a footballer, but if you ask me if I want him to, yes I would like it.

“The most important thing is to become the best at whatever he does, whether it is as a footballer or a doctor.”
