Eduoard Mendy Makes History As He Becomes First African Keeper To Break Kepa’s EPL Record

Eduoard Mendy, a Senegalese international and Chelsea goalkeeper, has etched his name into the English Premier League’s history.

In Chelsea’s victory over Burnley on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Turf Moor stadium in Burnley, England, Edouard Mendy was simply brilliant and exceptional.

After his outstanding performance, Edouard Mendy maintained a clean sheet, breaking Kepa Arrizabalaga’s record of premier league clean sheets with fewer games played.

In 80 Premier League games, Kepa has 26 clean sheets, while Eduoard Mendy has 27 clean sheets in 53 Premier League appearances for Chelsea.

Eduoard Mendy, on the other hand, had 10 clean sheets for Chelsea this season in the Premier League. He has firmly established himself as Chelsea’s number one goalkeeper, and is perhaps the best goalkeeper in the English Premier League.
