Chelsea Star Rudiger Reveals A Club That Proved They Are The “Best In Europe” Following UCL Exit

Antonio Rudiger, a German defensive midfielder, has shown sincere gratitude to a club that proven it is the best in Europe on Tuesday night during the Champions League quarter finals.

The Blues staged a strong comeback at the Santiago Bernabeu, but they were unable to proceed to the next round due to a heavy aggregate score in favor of Real Madrid.

With goals from Mason Mount, Antonio Rudiger, and Timo Werner, the Blues had a realistic chance to defeat Real Madrid in their own field.

Rodrigo and Karim Benzema scored in the dying minutes of the game to make the aggregate score 5-4 in favor of Carlos Ancelloti’s side.

After their emotional exit, Rudiger, who gave his all in this game, was effusive in his gratitude for his teammates. Rudiger congratulated his teammates for their efforts away from home.

He added that just a few clubs in Europe are capable of landing at the Santiago Bernabeu and causing the problems that Real Madrid had on Tuesday night.

“Not many teams can come here and completely destroy them as we did.”
