Chelsea Boss Tuchel Ready To Allow 12 Players Leave In The Summer

According to reports, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel plans to allow close to 12 players exit the club this summer. Chelsea are planning to sell 12 players in the summer transfer window, despite their recent success, according to the Express.

The team of Thomas Tuchel is coming off of a victorious Club World Cup performance. They have won their third trophy under the German and are looking forward to a busy summer.

Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, and Andreas Christensen’s futures have been heavily debated. Barcelona is apparently interested in signing Azpilicueta, while Christensen has been linked with transfers to both Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Rudiger, on the other hand, is gaining the attention of a number of big European clubs. The Germany international has been linked with Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Paris-Saint-Germain. According to reports, players on the edge of first-team action will be released.

The futures of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Ross Barkley, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek may all lie outside of Stamford Bridge.

Since Edouard Mendy’s arrival at the club in 2020, Kepa’s role has been taken over by the Senegalese. Despite appearing in the previous tournament, the Spaniard was left out of the club’s Club World Cup final.

The latter two have made little appearances for the Blues, with Barkley spending last season on loan at Aston Villa. Timo Werner, Christian Pulisic, and Hakim Ziyech are reportedly rumored to be on the market.

They have yet to properly hit the ground running since their massive additions to the club, with the trio costing a combined £137.7. Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, and Marcos Alonso’s futures are also being considered.

Despite the fact that the three has been a regular for Chelsea under Tuchel, there is a feeling that the time has come to let them go. Kante has been troubled by injuries recently, and he has only started 11 Premier League games this season.

Tuchel’s move has been bolstered by Jorginho, who finished third in the Ballon d’Or race in 2021, but he is being linked with a return to Italy.

Chelsea’s interest in West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice signals that the pair’s time at the London club may be up. Alonso, 29, has been covering in for Ben Chilwell, who has been injured.
