Black Stars To Commence Camping Ahead of Zimbabwe Clash

Twenty-seven called up to the Black Stars players are expected to open camp Tuesday morning. This is to begin preparations for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe.

Five players have been excused from the initial 32 man squad by the Technical team. This includes midfield maestro Mubarak Wakaso. The other players are Ismail Abdul Ganiyu, Tariqe Fosu Henry, Joseph Alfred Duncan and Emmanuel Gyasi.

Coach Milovan Rajevac and his men will seek to get back to winning ways over the weekend. This comes after the one goal loss to South Africa in the second game.

Consequently, The Black Stars currently sit at second in Group G with 3 points.
The Black Stars’ third fixture in the qualifiers is against the Warriors of Zimbabwe. The match will take it place Saturday, 9th October at the Cape Coast Stadium.
