Bayern Munich is allegedly interested in recruiting Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka as a right-back in the summer transfer season.
With Niklas Sule leaving for Borussia Dortmund in the summer, the Bavarian giants may be low on options at the position. Bayern’s first-choice right-back, Benjamin Pavard, hasn’t been reliable enough, while Bouna Sarr has yet to find his feet at the club.
According to Fichajes, the German champions have built up a right-back shortlist that includes Wan-Bissaka. At Old Trafford, the Englishman has slid down the pecking order, with interim manager Ralf Rangnick preferring Diogo Dalot.
Bayern is ready to go all out for a right-back signing, according to the aforementioned report, and has two additional defenders on their wish list.
Their top pick is Wolfsburg’s Riddle Baku, a 23-year-old right midfielder who has been with the Bundesliga club since coming for €10 million from Mainz in 2020.
Achraf Hakimi of Paris Saint-Germain is also on the Bundesliga league leaders’ wish list.
However, convincing the French side to sell the former Inter Milan star could be difficult because he only joined Paris in the summer of 2021.
