Barcelona are reportedly exploring a summer deal for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, as they have yet to make a decision on Erling Haaland.
According to the Daily Star, Lukaku, who has struggled since returning to Stamford Bridge, is being examined as a replacement by manager Xavi.
Under Xavi, the La Liga side have continued to improve, and they are now looking to recruit a big-name centre forward.
Players like Ousmane Dembele, Memphis Depay, Martin Braithwaite, and Luuk de Jong have been questioned about their futures, with president Joan Laporta looking to restructure the squad.
Several teams in Europe are interested in signing Erling Haaland, who has a £63 million (€75 million) release clause.
According to Spanish news site AS, Barcelona has accepted the transfer of Haaland to Manchester City and is now considering other options. As a result, Lukaku enters the equation as Barcelona’s fourth choice, or “last resort” option.
