Barcelona Reportedly Promise Salah That They Will Sign Him Next Summer

Mohamed Salah has reportedly been told by those in charge of Barcelona that they will sign him next summer after the expiration of his contract at Liverpool.

Talks have stalled over Mohamed Salah signing a new deal at Liverpool with his current contract expiring next year as club’s chiefs want the Egypt international to commit his future.

According to the report in the UK Sun, Barcelona chiefs want Mohamed Salah to finish his contract at Liverpool for them to sign him for free.

The former Chelsea and Roma star wants a 15 per cent increase to his current deal currently worth around £200,000-a-week.

Liverpool chiefs are now expected to do everything possible for them to convince Salah into signing a new deal considering the fact that they are on the verge of losing Sadio Mane.

Sadio Mane is said to have agreed deal on moving to German champions Bayern Munich.

Earlier, URBANNEWSGH had reported how Angry Liverpool fans have told those in charge of the Premier League giants to sell Mohamed Salah this summer after it was reported that the striker would prefer a move to another EPL side.

Mohamed Salah has been in scintillating form since he moved to Liverpool and the Egyptian striker has helped the club to win the Premier League and Champions League.

Last season, Mohamed Salah and his teammates at Anfield ended the season winning the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup before losing the Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Mohamed Salah’s current contract with Liverpool will expire in June 2023 and Liverpool chiefs must try to make him sign new deal or they lose the striker for free.
