Barcelona Moves Into Third Place Of League Table After A With Huge Victory Over Osasuna

With a thumping of Osasuna on Sunday night, Barcelona kept rattling up the La Liga league table. The Catalans won 4-0 thanks to two goals from Ferran Torres, one from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and one from Riqui Puig.

With the win, La Blaugrana moves up to third place in the rankings, one point ahead of Atletico Madrid on goal difference with a game in hand. Barcelona moved up to third position in La Liga with a 4-0 win over Osasuna on Sunday night. 

The Catalans beat the visitors 4-0 thanks to two goals from Ferran Torres, a strike from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Riqui Puig. La Blaugrana’s remarkable run of success, which has seen them climb the standings, continues with this result. 

They were looking to overturn an eight-point lead to Sevilla, who had 56 points after drawing with Rayo Vallecano at the time of publication.

Torres scored a penalty after Gavi was fouled from behind inside the area 14 minutes into the game. He doubled his tally seven minutes later, taking a fantastic cross from Dembele in behind the defense and beating the goalkeeper with a superb finish. 

On the right flank, Dembele was unstoppable, and five minutes later, the French winger teed up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for Barca’s third goal from close range. In the 75th minute, substitute Riqui Puig struck the back of the net after receiving a rebound.
