Barcelona Looking Forward To Beat Real Madrid In Race To Sign Erling Haaland

Barça wants to build a team around Haaland, similar to what they did with Ronaldinho in 2003, Messi in 2008, and Neymar in 2013.

According to Catalan outlet Sport, they are willing to offer Borussia Dortmund attacker Erling Haaland €100 million net over five seasons.

Barcelona must consider not only the large sum of money involved, but also the commission that his agent, Mino Raiola, and his father will demand. As AS reported on the back page on January 16, Barça president Joan Laporta believes Haaland is getting closer to joining Real Madrid.

Los Blancos are financially capable of paying the payments, but Barça would have to pay them in installments. Barcelona will also try to persuade Haaland by making him the club’s face, which will help him build his own personal brand. In terms of followers and interactions, Barcelona is the most popular club in the world.
