Black Star striker, Jordan Ayew, was booed off the pitch during Ghana’s 0-0 draw with Nigeria on Friday night at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Since scoring against Sao Tome and Principe in 2021, the forward has not scored for the Stars for almost a year.
After a disappointing AFCON tournament, there were requests for him to be withdrawn from the squad, but new head coach Otto Addo remained optimistic about the Crystal Palace forward.
Jordan Ayew wants to do everything, play corner kicks, free kicks, throw balls lmao how can a player be this selfish? 😂😂😂

Jordan played the first leg of the 2022 World Cup Qualifier against Nigeria at the Baba Yara stadium, despite he recently testing positive for COVID-19.
Jordan began to throw away free kicks in the first half, despite a normally aggressive start.
The fact that Jordan’s set-pieces were so bad, wasting quality chances and positions that the Black Stars could use, angered spectators in the stadium even more.
This trend has continued well into the second half, with fans becoming increasingly annoyed as the game progressed without a goal.
When Ayew was substituted by Kwasi Okyere Wriedt in the 90th minute, things became tense.
The forward took the field at the Baba Yara Stadium to a chorus of boos from the fans, which included his brother Andre. Jordan’s performance did not receive a lot of positive feedback on social media.
