Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a hat-trick in Barcelona’s 4-1 win over Valencia on his full LaLiga start.
The striker, who joined the club from Arsenal in January, looked like his old self as he led Barcelona to a victory that extended their unbeaten league run to nine games.
On his debut LaLiga start, Aubameyang made an immediate impact for his new team, scoring two goals in the first half at the Mestalla on Sunday.
In the second half, he scored his hat-trick, but he didn’t know it since Pedri’s amazing long-range strike was mistakenly awarded to Aubameyang because it went in off the striker’s back.
It’s been a fantastic start for Barcelona’s new No.25, who has virtually matched his Arsenal season goal record after only three games in Spain.
The former Arsenal no.14 only scored four goals in 14 Premier League appearances before leaving the Emirates Stadium.
