Andre Dede Ayew Nets Brace To Win First League Title With Al Sadd

Andre Dede Ayew, the captain of the Black Stars, scored a brace as Al-Sadd won comfortably over Al-Ahli Doha to secure the Qatari league title with four games to go.

Ayew came off the bench to strike two goals in the 62nd and 93rd minutes to help his team secure a 8-2 victory away from home.

With three rounds of games remaining, Ayew’s side extends their advantage at the top of the Qatari to 12 points, clinching their 16th league triumph.

Ayew’s second prize since joining the club is the league title. The 32-year-old won his first championship in October 2021, when he beat Al-Rayyan in a penalty shootout in the Emir Cup final.
