Andre Dede Ayew, the captain of the Black Stars, has landed in Barcelona with his Al Sadd colleagues for a two-week pre-season camp.
The former Swansea City midfielder joined the Qatari giants last month, but will begin training with the Wolves this week.
Manager Xavi Hernandez has welcomed Ayew to the team as intensive training begins ahead of the commencement of the Qatar Stars League in 2021/22.
Al Sadd will be in Barcelona until August 14, 2021, after which they will return to Qatar to begin their title defense.

The soccer team arrived in Barcelona on Monday for an abroad training session in preparation for the upcoming season, according to the club’s official website.
According to the schedule, the camp will run until the 14th of this month.
The representatives of the club consist of 24 players of Al- Sadd, technical and administrative staff.
The team will stay at Hotel Vall de Bas in Olot, which is 100 kilometers from the Barcelona Stadium.
The Wolves are tented here for the second consecutive time, having done so in the 2019-2020 season as well.”
