AFCON 2023: Check Out Black Stars Opponents For The 2023 AFCON Qualifiers

The qualification for the African Cup of Nations was place in South Africa on 19th April,2022.

Ghana’s Black Stars are in Group E with Madagascar, Angola, and the Central African Republic.

The four-time African champions will be attempting to qualify for the event for the 24th time.

The Black Stars did not have a good showing in the 2021 edition, losing two and drawing one match.

They’ll try to put things right in the upcoming event, but first they’ll have to beat their group. This will undoubtedly be a difficult assignment.

Following the departure of experienced players such as Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Ali Muntari, and Kelvin Prince Boateng, Ghana’s senior national squad appears to be rebuilding.

At the moment, the technical staff is hoping to hear positive news from several players of Ghanaian heritage who have decided to join the club.

Some of the foreign-born players have expressed an interest in playing for the West African powerhouse since their qualification for the World Cup.

The most recent is Eddie Nketiah.

Despite the fact that the group appears to be difficult, the Black Stars are capable of qualifying if the necessary steps are taken. Best wishes to the teams.
