5 Top Players Who Played For Chelsea And Arsenal

As arguably the two biggest clubs in London, Chelsea and Arsenal have always had a tetchy relationship.

Fireworks are never far away whenever the Blues and the Gunners go head to head, but that hasn’t stopped a few bold stars from crossing the divide from the Emirates to Stamford Bridge and vice versa.

Here are all the players who have turned out for both clubs during the Premier League era.

1. Cesc Fabregas

Fabregas played for Arsenal predominantly in the 2000s before moving to Barcelona. In 2014, when he made his return to the Premier League, he chose London rivals Chelsea.

2. Ashley Cole

Before he joined Chelsea in 2006, the former England left-back had already spent seven seasons at Arsenal.

3. David Luiz

David Luiz spent six seasons at Chelsea in two different spells. He moved to Arsenal in 2019 and played for them until 2021 when he left.

4. Emmanuel Petit

In 1997, Petit reunited with his AS Monaco manager Arsene Wenger. He spent three seasons there and then left for Barcelona. He stayed at Barcelona for a season before returning to the Premier League to play for Chelsea.

5. Olivier Giroud

Chelsea signed Olivier Giroud in 2018 and he spent three seasons at Stamford Bridge. Before joining Chelsea, he played for Arsenal for six seasons. Giroud currently plays for AC Milan
