5 of Barcelona Worst Signings in History

Barcelona are one of the best clubs in the top five European leagues and they have been highly impressive in performance in their pre-season friendly matches.
The Catalan club have signed some players to their squad this summer inorder to compete for different titles next season.
Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Kessie and Andreas Christensen have all joined Barcelona and they have made their debut for the club.
The new signings have been impressive in performance so far and they are expected to perform well in 2022/2023 season.
Here are the five worst signings in Barcelona’s history:
1. Coutinho
Barcelona signed Coutinho from Liverpool in 2018 for a huge fee of €135 million. Coutinho struggled to establish himself in the Laliga and was sold to Aston Villa for just 20 million euros in 2022.
2. Nelson Semedo
Nelson Semedo joined Barcelona from Benfica in 2017 for a fee of €30.5 million. Semedo failed to adapt to Barcelona’s playing style and was later sold to Wolves in 2022.
3. Malcom
Malcom joined Barcelona from Bordeaux in 2018 for a fee of 41 million euros and was sold to Zenit in the following season after failing to establish himself at Barcelona.
4. Antoine Greizmann
Barcelona spent 120 million euros to sign Antoine Greizmann from Atletico Madrid in 2019. He was forced to leave Camp Nou two years later after a disappointing spell with the Catalan club.
5. Miralem Pjanic
The last player on the list is Miralem Pjanic who joined Barcelona from Juventus for a huge fee of 60 million euros. Pjanic has failed to secure a place for himself at Barcelona and he doesn’t seem to be in Xavi’s plan.
