The Brazilian attacking midfielder was signed by Barcelona in 2018 for €135 Million.

They then sold him to Aston Villa in January 2022 winter transfer for €20 Million.

2. Kaka

Real Madrid signed him from AC Milan for €67 Million.

On the expiry of his contract in 2013 he left to join AC Milan as a free agent.

3. James Rodriguez

After his performance for Colombia in the 2014 World Cup, Real Madrid signed him from Monaco at a fee of €75 Million.

After a bad seasons at Manchester City, Eliaquim Mangala who cost the club €42 million was released from the club.

He joined Valencia as a free agent.
