The 2022 World Cup draw has already been released, with some tough group stage matches predicted. Three teams are set to qualify for the competition in June, after 29 nations have already qualified.
The event has 32 countries, however the draw was completed without the participation of the other three, who were still playing in their respective ties. With some of the world’s most powerful nations vying for a spot in the final and a chance to win the competition, the stakes are high.
Four groups contain tough teams whose matchups will be difficult to predict. The host country Qatar, the Netherlands, Ecuador, and Africa Champions Senegal are all in Group A.
- Group G
It is without a doubt one of the World Cup’s strongest groups. Group G, on the other hand, is ranked fourth. It got off to a great start, with Brazil at the top of the FIFA standings. Switzerland, one of the strongest teams at the Euro, is also still ranked 14th in FIFA.
Serbia (25th) and Cameroon (37th), on the other hand, deserved to be ranked higher.

- Group E
What a showdown this group E is going to be! In this group stage, Spain and Germany will compete against each other.
The first is ranked 7th in the FIFA rankings, while the second is ranked 12th. They are both outsiders in this World Cup. For the other two teams in this group, the situation appears to be more complex.
In the FIFA rankings, we also discover Japan, which is ranked 18th. The final will be contested by Costa Rica and New Zealand. Costa Rica, the jump-favorite, off’s is ranked 31st.
- Group D
The Blues have reason to be concerned, according to FIFA rankings. In this international competition, they are in the second toughest group.
The world champion finds Denmark, which is ranked 11th, in third position. Tunisia, the third qualifier, is currently ranked 35th.
