Some of the individuals who are doing well for themselves and Nigeria are not born in the country but they have Nigeria descent.

In this article, we have compiled a list of some German players who are originally from Nigeria.

1. Jamal Musiala

It is currently a known truth that there are several international players that are originally from Nigeria.

One of them on our list Jamal Musiala. He is a German professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder, left winger or central midfielder for Bayern Munich and the Germany national team.

The superstar was born in Germany to a Nigerian father and German mother. He has represented both Germany and England at youth level but eventually switched his allegiance to the Germany national team for future games in February 2021.

2. Lukas Nmecha

Lukas Nmecha is another German professional footballer who is originally from Nigeria. He is currently playing as a forward for Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg and the Germany national team.

He was born in Hamburg to a German mother and a Nigerian father. As a result of football rules, he is eligible to play for Nigeria, Germany and England.

But he switched his allegiance to Germany national team and has played several matches for them.

3. Ayodele Max Adetula

Another famous German player who has Nigerian descent is Ayodele Max Adetula. He currently plays as a winger for VfB Oldenburg.

He was born on 9th February 1998 in Germany to parents of Nigerian descent

4. Fabian Senninger

Fabian Senninger is a German-Nigerian professional footballer who is currently playing as a full-back for SV Lippstadt 08.

He was born to a German mother and Nigerian father. He was said in December 2016 that he prefer to switch his international allegiance to Nigeria over Germany
