Known for his great footballing genius, Nwankwo Kanu, comes first on this list. The Nigerian Forward has played for Arsenal, Ajax, inter Milan, West Brom, and Portsmouth where he won two champion league titles, two FA Cups, and a lot of trophies. His characters most worthy of emulation were his brilliant skills and athleticism which earned him 54 goals and 29 assists in all the 273 matches he played.
- Yakubu Aiyegbeni
Yakubu is considered one of the highest-scoring Nigerian players in the Premier League history. He had a knack for goals and with his unwavering finishing cumulated over 95 goals alongside 26 assists in the total of 252 matches, he played for Portsmouth, Middlesbrough, Everton, and Blackburn.
- Austin ‘Jay-Jay’ Okocha
Okocha was a popular name that was chanted throughout English stadiums where he played. During his footballing years, the midfielder scored 14 goals and gave 11 assists at 124 pitch appearances at both Paris Saint Germain and Bolton Wanderers. The playmaker was known for his dexterity with the ball, composure, dribbling technique, creative body feints, and stepovers.

He holds the record as the first Nigerian player to ever feature in a Premier League match. Even though he spent only seven years, playing for both Milton Keynes Dons and Norwich City, the striker made the most of his time on the pitch by cluttering 52 goals into the net and giving 10 assists in all his 160 appearances.

Throughout his 15 years of conquering the game for both Newcastle United and Crystal Palace, Shola Ameobi has found the back of the net 43 times and given a total of 20 assists in his 298 appearances on the pitch.
- Osaze Odemwingie
Even though his shine was short-lived, he made quite a name during his stay at West Brom, Stoke City, and Cardiff. During this time, the Nigerian forward scored 36 goals and gave 13 assists in his 129 performances in the Premier League

Victor is one of the favorites of the Premier League fans due to how he impressed them with his beautiful playmaking. He has played for Wigan, Chelsea, Liverpool, Stoke City, and West Ham, being able to net the ball 20 times and gave 18 assists the 168 times he played on the pitch.
- Celestine Babayaro
Babayaro is one of the best left-backs that Nigeria ever produced. He was opportune to play for both Chelsea and Newcastle United and in his 179 appearances for both clubs, he scored 5 goals and had 13 assists.
- John Mikel Obi
Even though the Nigerian midfielder could only meet the back of the net once and give only ten assists during his 249 performances for Chelsea, Mikel Obi has, without doubt, made a name for himself in England. During his footballing career, he has won two Premier League titles, three FA Cups, the Champions League, and Europa League amongst other trophies.

Former Super Eagles Captain, Joseph Yobo is the last but not the least on this list. The defender has a record of 228 appearances for two EPL clubs, Norwich and Everton, in which he has scored a total of 8 goals and supplied two assists.
