Most of the valuable Asian players do not play in Europe’s top five leagues. Most of them play in their domestic league while only a few talented ones play for top European clubs.
However, Heung-Min Son, who won and became the first Asian player to win the Premier League golden boot, is the most valuable Asian player in the world. The Tottenham striker is just 25 million euros away from reaching a 100 million euro market valuation.
Heung-Min Son is not the only popular player among the players that made the list. Another player who made the list is Tomiyasu. The full-back plays for Arsenal and is the second most valuable Asian player in the world. However, he made a huge contribution for Arsenal in their defense as they finished fifth and qualified for the 2022/23 UEFA Europa League.
Along with Heung-Min Son and Takehiro Tomiyasu, other Asian players with market valuations of more than 20 million euros include Kamada and Azmoun. Both players are less than 26 years old and could someday play for top European clubs.
Other Asian players who made the top ten list include Doan, Shomurodov, Minamino, Kim, Hwang, and Taremi. Despite the fact that Minamino didn’t make too many appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s team, they were able to win the League Cup and FA Cup with the team. If he keeps playing well in training, he could make many appearances for Jurgen Klopp this season.
However, some of these players on the list didn’t win any silverware with their club last season.
