We Will Force Akufo-Addo to Resign if E-Levy is Passed – Odike

Ghanaian businessman and politician Akwasi Addai Odike has promised to make it his personal goal to ensure President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo resigns If the E-Levy bill is passed.

“We would embark on demonstrations till President Akufo-Addo resigns from office if the e-levy is passed,” says Odike, who has been loud in his opposition to the E-Levy.

“The people of the Ashanti Region say this is not the NPP they know,” he added. According to him, the President and some associates are trying to destroy the party they love by refusing to change their minds about the e-levy saga. However, they’d not stand for it to happen. He assures Ghanaians that once the demonstration begins, resident in Kumasi would be at the frontline.

“I expected the government to invite prominent people, opinion leaders, and other economic brains to come together to discuss how to improve the economic status of the country,” Odike said in an interview with Happy98.9FM’s Don Kwabena Prah on the Epa Hoa Daben political discussion show.
