Joyce Mensah Dzidzor, Ghana’s former HIV/AIDS ambassador during the Mahama-led NDC administration, has levied a massive accusation against former President John Dramani Mahama.
Joyce Mensah Dzidzor was designated as the Ghana AIDS Commission’s face on the international stage, and she traveled pursuant to the conditions of her contract to represent the country while announcing her status.
However, according to her, her contract was abruptly terminated with no prior notice and no explanation for the impromptu decision, with the wife of then-President First Lady Lordina Mahama being assigned to her post.
According to Joyce Dzidzor, she had a child at the time and because her mother was not available to babysit, she could not travel with the commission to a ceremony she was invited to.
Though she had passed the information through the Communication Director to inform the Director of the Commission, her message was not passed, only for her to receive a termination letter through dispatch.
