Apologize to Aflao Chief – NDC MPs Tell Nana Addo

Members of Parliament representing the NDC from the Volta Region calls on President Akuffo Addo. The group of MPs seek that Nana Addo apologize to Aflao Chief, Togbui Amenya Fiti V.

According to them, the president’s response to claims by the paramount chief was offensive and disrespectful. 

The Aflao Chief made some complains about the delay of an E-Block project in his community. He called on the Education Minister to complete the project by February next year. 

In response, President Nana Addo said that the Chief should complete the E-Block himself if he is frustrated about the delay. He said in an interview on Accra-based Peace FM.

A member of the aggrieved MPs,  , Dzifa Gomashie, called on Nana Addo while addressing the press. The MP for Ketu South says the President must retract and apologize to the chief and Ghanaians.

Meanwhile, the Director of Communications for the NPP argues that there is no need for President Nana Addo to apologize to the Aflao Chief.
