Ghana’s renowned rapper, Sarkodie, has stepped on the toes of many Ghanaian following some comment he passed during an interview session in Nigeria.
Sarkodie, on a media tour in Nigeria, was seen in the studios of Beat 99.9 FM (a popular studio in Lagos) for His No Pressure promo and listening.
In the course of the interview, the renowned Ghanaian rapper was asked a tricky question concerning the Ghana Music Industry and he gave a reply which has surprised many Ghanaians now.
Osi Suave, the Nigerian presenter who interviewed Sarkodie, told King Sark that Ghanaians don’t celebrate him following his various hit song he has released to support African Music.
The presenter further went on to make a comparison on how Nigerians cheer up their artistes for the little things they do but Ghanaians always expecting their artistes to achieve things they can’t gain before they celebrate them.
Acting smartly, Sarkodie kept quiet and decided not to respond to the comparison made by the Nigerian presenter but later agreed to Osi Suave’s claim when asked his opinion.
Sarknatives, fan base of sarkodie, have expressed their disappointment in their artiste for passing such bad comment about Ghanaians and they have tagged him to be ‘ungrateful’.
Sarknatives are astonish that upon all the support they give to their artiste, he still says Ghanaians do not support their own.
Sarkodie is one of the artiste in Ghana who has been celebrated over the past 10 years. He’s been termed as the ‘King of Rap’ in Ghana. What else does he expect from Ghanaians?

Abena Moët, a Ghanaian radio presenter, has really condemned Sarkodie action for agreeing to the Nigerian presenter’s claim.
