Highlife singer Kuami Eugene has thrown shades on social media amid news that rapper Guru has released a ‘diss’ song for him. After weeks of back and forth banter between the two, Guru released a diss song son Friday, February 19, 2021, titled Who Born Dog. The song has Guru throwing jabs at Kuami Eugene and belittling his whole career. Not long after Guru’s song dropped, Kuami Eugene took to social media to share a photo. The photo had Eugene dressed in a green suit and mauve looking turtle neck top.
In his caption, the reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year was in a shading mood as he quoted a verse from the Bible.
Basing on Psalm 34:21, Kuami Eugene declared that wicked people would be slayed by their own evil and those who do not like peace are going to be condemned. “Psalm 34:21. For Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate peace will be condemned. Let Me Hear Amen #SonOfAfrica
As previously reported by YEN.com.gh, Guru indicated in his song that he was so big in the music industry and that his record was insurmountable because just one hit song of his was bigger and better than Eugene’s entire career. Guru also dragged Lynx Entertainment boss, Richie Mensah into the brouhaha and said he was going to raise hell for the Artiste of the Year. A According to Guru, Kuami Eugene has lied about his age because, in 2019, his (Eugene’s) dad indicated that his son was 30 years old. He also said Kuami Eugene does not know how to dress well and that he dresses “basaa like elective maths questions.”
